“ Hope Grows in the Garden “
Speakers Tyrone Day and SMU Professor Owen Lynch Co- Founders of Restorative Farms
At Restorative Farms, Tyrone Day and Owen Lynch’s mission is to “Grow a better and healthier Dallas.”
Tyrone Day, D Magazine’s Social Innovator of the Year and a D Magazine Frontline Hero, is the heart of Restorative Farms. His story is one of remarkable resilience. After being wrongly imprisoned and then exonerated, he returned to South Dallas where he has dedicated himself to service and community.
Based on Professor Owen Lynch’s years of research, the sustainable system of Restorative Farms grants access to healthy fresh food, beautiful spaces, local jobs, skills training, and economic growth.
All parishioners, friends, and community members are invited to hear these dynamic, inspiring speakers.
